No hay ningún libro que supere a este en animarnos en nuestra fe y entusiasmarnos por la persona de Jesucristo.

¿Qué estamos perdiendo si desconocemos este libro? En primer lugar hay muchas respuestas posibles a esta pregunta, pero quizás, el rasgo más distintivo de esta epístola sea su exposición de la relación que existe entre el Antiguo Testamento y el Nuevo:

Por tal motivo los puntos de contraste entre ambos y también los puntos de continuidad y de cumplimiento. además , Hebreos tiene

un contenido doctrinal único y por supuesto  es un libro clave para la comprensión del conjunto de la Biblia. Asi mismo, de esta manera, es muy difícil entender cristianamente el Antiguo Testamento sin un conocimiento amplio de Hebreos. 

En Hebreos tambien vemos las sombras del pasado a la luz de la realidad de Cristo; entendemos de qué manera Cristo es el cumplimiento de lo antiguo; se nos explica asi mismo, cómo el orden material y temporal del Antiguo Testamento cede ante un nuevo orden espiritual y finalmente, eterno que es realmente el orden que Dios tenía en mente desde el principio.

There is no book that surpasses this one in encouraging us in our faith and getting us excited about the person of Jesus Christ.

What are we losing if we ignore this book? There are many possible answers to this question, but perhaps, The most distinctive feature of this epistle is its exposition of the relationship that exists between the Old Testament and the New:

the points of contrast between the two and also the points of continuity and compliance.

For this reason, Hebrews has a unique doctrinal content and is a key book for understanding the entire Bible. In this way, it is very difficult to understand the Old Testament Christianly without extensive knowledge of Hebrews. In Hebrews we see the shadows of the past in the light of the reality of Christ; we understand how Christ is the fulfillment of the old; it is explained to us how the material and temporal order of the Old Testament gives way to a new spiritual and eternal order that is really the order God had in mind from the beginning.
