Uncion de David. ¡Un hombre conforme al corazón de Dios! Desde que leí esta expresión de Dios para describir a David, quedé cautivado. De modo que me dediqué a estudiar las Escrituras para conocer su personalidad,

su temperamento, sus razonamientos, su forma de adorar, su modo de enfrentar las injusticias de la vida,

sus debilidades y sus pecados, así como la manera en que los enfrentó.

Tras años de estudio, hoy comparto lo aprendido de mi análisis; pero, más que todo, lo que he tratado de imitar de su ejemplo. Eso me llevó a la conclusión de que todo el que quiera tener un corazón conforme al de Dios debe seguir a este modelo de hombre, hijo, hermano, amigo, adorador y líder.

Es fascinante ver cómo se abren los cielos sobre aquellos que desarrollan la fe para creer que Dios bendecirá y prosperará a aquel cuyo corazón se parezca al de Jesucristo.

Si lee este libro para aprender la historia del mejor rey de Israel, solo obtendrá conocimiento; pero si lo hace para seguir las huellas de ese gran hombre, su vida se transformará.

his reasoning, his way of worshiping,
